THE PROJECT
"The project I'm looking forward to creating for Art Zoyd Studios is a tight, kaleidoscopic tapestry of interlocking sounds, rhythms and harmonies. Walking along the Gérard Hourbette forecourt, the public will hear in their headphones a web of rhythms created from a combination of intimate sounds, evoking a sense of closeness and interiority, contrasting with sounds recorded on the forecourt itself, creating an explicit interaction between the private and public worlds. These sounds will interweave with one another in such a way that as the audience strolls across the square, tempo, meter and harmonies will literally shift beneath their feet, interweaving with one another in ever-changing, intertwining configurations."
